Meet our Board Member Jan Johnson!
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University and later completed a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation through Georgia State University. I’m.an IT Program Manager with a Fortune 500 company, where I focus on technology program leadership and customer experience solutions.
Service and leadership have always been important to me. I’m an active member of the Hampton University Alumni Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the Junior League of DeKalb County. I enjoy finding ways to give back to the community while building meaningful connections with others.
Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy singing, stamp collecting, and spending time with my family. I live in Tucker with my husband and our two children, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible community.
I’m guided by Booker T. Washington’s words: “If you want to lift yourself up, lift someone else.” I’m honored to support Tucker High School and help create opportunities that positively impact students and families.
